Contributions to the Center for Urban & Structural Entomology

The mission of the Center for Urban & Structural Entomology is to conduct research, educate the public, and advise any interested person or organization on insects which impact urban environments. The Center supports not only the state of Texas, but any concerned citizen that has inquiries concerning pests which cause them financial, medical or psychological distress. Often, our identifications and recommendations for numerous pest related problems avert needless expenses. However, in order to maintain the quality and scope of services we provide, financial support is needed. In many instances, inquiries are made from both public and private organizations on how financial contributions to our mission can be made. Financial support by any interested individual or organization to support our mission can be made directly to the Center.

To make a tax-deductible contribution to our program, checks should be made out (exactly) to "The Department of Entomology," and mailed to:

When writing checks, do not use the words "Texas A&M" or "Texas A&M University" anywhere on the check, even as part of the address. This sometimes causes difficulties on where financial contributions ultimately get allocated. If you need further information you can contact the Center directly at 979-845-5855. Contributions can be made anonymously if desired.
